
Each frontage had the same story spray-painted on it's glass in bright colours this shows the lifts were cleared by a New Zealand team
In November I returned to Christchurch for the first time since the earthquakes had started I found the city to be quiet and disorientating areas that once contained shopping and restaurants now were the bus station and a car park. These few images do not do the damage justice nor show the scores of empty houses we drove past but I know that we can get Christchurch back to a show piece of our Country
